Announcement and Call for Proposals:

International Forum on "How institutional research empower universities high-quality and sustainable development in digital era" &2024 Annual Conference of Chinese Association for Institutional Research

Time and place of the meeting: July 5-8   Hangzhou ,China

The accelerating evolution of the new generation of technology and industrial revolution, represented by digitization and intelligence, will expedite the process of modernization of higher education. Higher education institutions (HEIs), acting as pivotal centers for education, technology, and talent convergence, face the realistic challenge and important opportunity of achieving high-quality and sustainable development through institutional research in the digital era. In this context, the International Forum on "How Institutional Research Empower Universities High-quality and Sustainable Development in Digital Era" & Annual Conference of the Chinese Association for Institutional Research are scheduled to held from 5-7 July 2024 in Hangzhou. This event will be co-held by the Chinese Association for Institutional Research and Hangzhou Normal University. The conference will start at 6.00 p.m. on Friday 5 July and finish at 12.00 noon on Sunday 7 July.

We are now inviting applications (including both published or unpublished papers and PowerPoint slides) for participation in the conference. We extend a warm welcome to researchers, educators and policymakers from around the word to gather for compelling presentations and discussions on future digital universities and higher education. Submissions which explore themes that are aligned with the legacy of interests of this conference are encouraged. The sub-themes are listed as follows:

1. Strategic Change and Sustainable Development of HEIs,

2. Institutional Governance in Digital Era,

3. Higher Education Quality Improvement and Evaluation,

4. Innovation Systems and Organized Research Management of HEIs,

5. Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education of HEIs,

6. Theory and Practice of Institutional Research in Digital Era.
